Our story
We got tired of bulky plastic braces.
Oakhold started with a family member who stopped walking to the mailbox, and a drawer full of braces that were all too rigid, too bulky, or built for the wrong shoe.
Why Oakhold exists
It started the way it probably started for you: a toe that catches on nothing, a stumble on a kerb, and the slow habit of watching the ground instead of where you're going.
We looked for the right brace. What we found was a category split between rigid plastic shells and lace-hook straps, sold under a hundred forgettable names, with inflated claims and no one standing behind them.
